Automotive trademarks are the property of the trademark holder, authorization may be needed for some uses. --- Info: A thousand motorcycles take part in this mad event. The race starts along the beach, followed by a run into the sand dunes. The entry point in the dunes is most spectacular: All motorbikes have to pass through a small opening in the dunes. Once the fast professional drivers have flown through, this first passage developes into a true bottleneck with many hundreds of motorbikers trying to get through at the same time. Motorcycles are strewn all over the place. Many have fallen, others have already broken down. In the meantime, the professional riders are progressing quickly. But their riding style changes from racing full-out as soon as they are approaching the lappers from behind. Outmaneuvering them at high speeds is an art form! After three hours it's all over.....
