The two storeyed Lotus Mahal with recessed archways is one of the major attractions within the World Heritage Site of Hampi. The architecture is a skilful mixture under Hindu and Islamic influence. The pillars, the arches and the windows are of Islamic character, while the Sikharas or spires are Hindu. India, Karnataka, Hampi.
