Stretched 6 door Range Rover 2nd generation, Engine 4.6 V8 petrol, chassis no. 31A38623, registration N788 ARW. Now part of the Dunsfold Collection of Landrovers, Surrey, UK. NO RELEASES AVAILABLE. Automotive trademarks are the property of the trademark holder, authorization may be needed for some uses. --- Info: This 2nd generation Range Rover started life as am Australian spec demonstrator. After a few miles it was taken into Land Rover Special Vehicles, cut in half and stretched to allow another pair of doors and another row of seats to be fitted. This was done in time for a middle east motor show, to demonstrate that the new Range Rover was still as adaptable as the outgoing model. After the show it was used at the factory as a limo, as well as starring in the James Bond movie as M's staff car. It was also used in A.T.V. Series called Harbour Lights. Celebrities such as Ronan Keating have also used it as transport to the party in the park, and Elton Johns birthday party where it stole the show. The Dunsfold Collection managed to save this unique RR from the crusher with one week to spare in 2000.
